TOP 14 - AMATEUR WORLD
THE NEW 2024-2027 CYCLE
2024-2027 Cycle - Amateur/Pro World
The Gueules du Rugby 2024-2027 project is a national initiative aimed at strengthening links between professional Top 14 rugby and the amateur world.
For four seasons, until the next World Cup in Australia, we will organize significant exchanges between elite clubs and amateur clubs of various levels.
Phase 1: Three members of a Top 14 team (two players and the coach) will spend a full day at an amateur club. They will share their techniques, training methods, and experiences through discussions and practical workshops. These meetings will also provide an opportunity to create portraits and video interviews of the amateur participants, highlighting their stories and passion for rugby.
Phase 2: Three to four members of the amateur club will have the opportunity to spend two days at a professional Top 14 club. They will participate in training sessions, discover the fitness centers, and experience pre-match preparations up close. This total immersion will be filmed, and video profiles and interviews with the professional players will be produced.
Each year, four duos will be created, bringing together 16 shared adventures in a 400-page box set or book. Events such as exhibitions, discussions, and workshops will be organized to celebrate these encounters.
Filming Schedule:
March: ASM/Brioude, Racing/Montchanin with the legends Dusautoir, Tordo, Pelous, Herrero.
April: Montpellier/Marguerittes, Castres/Carmaux with the legends Chabal, Sella, Romeux, Rives, Cordorniou.
Each duo will create rich video and photo content, including behind-the-scenes and daily club life. We will use Canon equipment to capture these unforgettable moments, and local and regional press will be notified for proper media coverage.
Don't miss this exceptional adventure that promises to strengthen the bonds between rugby fans and professionals, and to celebrate this sport that shapes unique lives and stories.
